Hand Drills, Fingernail
Definition : Handheld instruments designed to hold and provide rotatory movement (i.e., torque) to integral or detachable drill bits or burs that are used on the fingernails. Fingernail hand drills consist of high-speed powered (e.g., electric) instruments that typically include a control unit and an attached handpiece with a chuck and work with detachable components such as drill bits, burs, and filing/polishing devices. Fingernail hand drills are primarily intended for shaping and filing the nails during therapeutic or cosmetic procedures; they can be also used under the nails and/or to conform the cuticles.
